NAN RUBIN has been strengthening and building infrastructure for community-based media for more than thirty years.


COMMUNITY MEDIA SERVICES
provides organizational assistance and support to public television and radio stations, independent producers, public media service organizations, social justice groups and foundations.

This includes --
public media policy analysis;  public media archives, operations and facilities; and  nonprofit media fundraising.



Many of her other activities are tied to progressive politics and Jewish culture and history.

My papercut designs  draw on traditional Jewish symbols, designs from Pueblo Indian pottery and basketware and elements of Sephardic (Spanish) and "Santa Fe" style found throughout the Southwest.
