Round Amulet for Abundance

The round design is similar to baskets and Pueblo pottery bowls. In the center is the six-petal flower, symbol of the hidden Jews of New Mexico, which is enclosed in a Star of David. In turn, this is entwined by squash blossom/pomegranates and bunches of grapes, symbols of fertility, bounty and joy. the next circle contains an eagle feather design and a repeating pattern of Jewish stars, a motif which is also shared with Native American potters. The thin outer "rim" contains a symbol for flowing water. Above the water is the universe, represented by the sun, moon and stars, and Shaddai , the spirit of G-d hovering over the water, is written twice in each corner to amplify its strength.
